Antenna installation:
Mount the HD antenna as high as possible inside the attic. Optionally two antennas can be mounted, connected with exact lengths or RG6 coax to a 2-way coax splitter and aimed in different desired directions. Aim the antenna based on compass recommendations from the website TV Fool. Enter the exact address of your house and antenna elevation. Typically, the ideal compass angle for Norfolk channels would be 160 degrees. For Richmond channels you can use 281 degrees.
Attach a short 24” length of RG6 cable to the antenna. Attach the non-powered portion of the antenna booster to the RG6 cable. Next, attach RG6 cable down to any convenient location, usually your smart home panel, where you can connect power to the booster. Then connect the antenna input of the Tablo box. The location should be close enough to your WiFi router for either wireless connection to your home network or where you can connect using ethernet cable.
