We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, post a poem, or communicate with other poets. This includes:

Profile details including your bio and profile picture.
The poems you publish and the comments you leave on others\' work.
Usage data such as which poems you interact with and how often you use the app.
The information we collect is used to provide, maintain, and improve our services. Specifically we use your data to:
Personalise your feed based on your poetic interests.
Calculate your Feedback Ratio to promote a healthy community balance.
Send notifications about interactions with your work (you can opt out at any time).
Protect our community from spam and harassment.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We prioritise efficient data handling that does not compromise your security. We never sell your personal information or your creative works to third parties.
You retain full copyright and ownership of the poems you post on Colombo Poets. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your work to other members of the community within the app.
You have the right to access, edit, or delete your personal information at any time from Settings. If you choose to delete your account, your published poems will be permanently removed from our servers after a 30-day grace period.
