Common questions
How is "how much is left" worked out?
From your own spray count, not a guess. If you top up or decant, correct the level directly and the estimate re-bases from there.
Why does a blend show a different balance than the parts I typed?
Because parts are not the same as strength. Equal parts of neat bergamot and a 10% musk is really ten to one citrus. The pyramid is measured on neat aromatic volume, which is the honest number.
What do I get with Pro?
An unlimited formula library, version history, the maceration shelf and its reminders, the evaluation log, and the on-device blend suggestion. The wardrobe, the wear log, layering and the whole blending bench — including safety checks, the pyramid and costing — are free and unlimited.
How do I cancel?
iPhone Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, then Cologne Lab, then Cancel. You can also reach it from Settings inside the app.
I paid and Pro did not unlock.
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore. If it still does not unlock, email us with the date of purchase and we will sort it out.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login.

Cologne Lab Privacy Policy

The short version
Cologne Lab has no account system and no server of its own. Your collection, your wear log, your formulas and your notes stay on your device and in your own iCloud, where only you can see them. We cannot see them.
What stays on your device
Everything you enter: bottles, brands, prices, notes, wear history, layering combinations, formulas, materials and maceration batches. This is stored locally and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced through your own iCloud account, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy rather than ours. We have no access to it.
Fragrance note suggestions are worked out on the device. Nothing about your collection is uploaded to produce them.
What leaves your device
Only what a purchase requires.
Apple. When you subscribe or buy, Apple processes the payment. We never see your payment details.
RevenueCat. We use RevenueCat to check whether a subscription is active. It receives an anonymous identifier for your installation and the purchase information Apple returns. It does not receive your name, your email address, or anything about your fragrances. See revenuecat.com/privacy
Notifications
If you turn on reminders, notifications are scheduled on your device. We do not send them from a server, and no notification content leaves your phone.
"Offers and new features" is a separate setting, off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time in the app's Settings.
Sharing
If you share your scent profile, the image is created on your device and goes only where you send it. Nothing is uploaded to us.
Children
Cologne Lab is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
Deleting the app removes the data on the device. To remove the iCloud copy, delete it from iCloud in iOS Settings. To be forgotten by RevenueCat, email us and we will request deletion of the anonymous purchase record.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update this page and the date above.
