Our general research focus in this lab is to push analytical boundaries associated with the high-dimensional data that accompany morphological descriptions of organisms. We do this by:

• Developing new analytical methods (especially for phylogenetic comparative methods)

• Developing software that incorporates cutting-edge advances in evolutionary biology

• Using computing power rather than parametric theory to simulate patterns from processes

• Doing these things to answer interesting evolutionary biology questions

• Welcoming diverse perspectives from diverse people. (Our lab is an inclusive environment, where anyone should feel welcomed and respected.)
