CalibrateIQ Privacy Policy

CalibrateIQ respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared when you use the CalibrateIQ mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use CalibrateIQ, we may collect information that you provide directly to the app, including:

Name and contact information
Email address and account information
Vehicle information such as VIN, year, make, model, trim, mileage, and repair order number
Vehicle photographs and other images you choose to capture or upload
ADAS assessment information and calibration-related records
Technician notes, repair information, procedures, and assessment results
Invoice and business information entered into the app
Subscription status and purchase information
Information imported through an optional Collision Sync connection

CalibrateIQ does not require access to your full payment card information. Subscription payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.

2. Vehicle Photos and Camera Access

CalibrateIQ may request access to your device camera and photo library so you can capture or select vehicle photographs, VIN information, damage images, and other assessment documentation.

Vehicle images may be processed to assist with vehicle assessment, documentation, VIN identification, and ADAS-related workflow features.

CalibrateIQ does not use your vehicle photographs for third-party advertising.

3. VIN and Vehicle Information

If you enter or scan a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), CalibrateIQ may use the VIN to retrieve available vehicle information such as year, make, model, body type, engine information, and other vehicle attributes.

Vehicle information may come from public or third-party vehicle data services and may not contain every installed option or ADAS feature.

CalibrateIQ assessment results should be verified against applicable OEM procedures and vehicle-specific information.

4. How We Use Information

Information collected through CalibrateIQ may be used to:

Provide and operate the CalibrateIQ application
Create and maintain vehicle assessments
Generate reports and invoices
Provide VIN decoding and vehicle identification features
Save assessment history and related records
Verify CalibrateIQ Pro subscription status
Provide customer support
Improve app reliability, security, and performance
Prevent fraud or misuse of the service

5. CalibrateIQ Pro Subscriptions

CalibrateIQ offers optional paid subscription features through CalibrateIQ Pro.

Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

CalibrateIQ may use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlement status, purchase validation, restoration of purchases, and access to Pro features.

RevenueCat may receive information related to subscription products, purchase status, transaction identifiers, and an application-specific user identifier.

CalibrateIQ does not receive your full credit card or debit card information.

6. Collision Sync Integration

CalibrateIQ may optionally connect with Collision Sync.

If you choose to use this integration, vehicle and repair information may be transferred between CalibrateIQ and your Collision Sync account to provide the requested workflow features.

Collision Sync is a separate service and may require a separate active subscription.

7. Third-Party Services

CalibrateIQ may use trusted third-party providers to operate certain portions of the service.

These providers may include:

Apple App Store for iOS purchases and subscriptions
Google Play for Android purchases and subscriptions
RevenueCat for subscription management and entitlement verification
Vehicle information services used to decode available VIN information
Cloud infrastructure used to provide app features and securely process requested information

These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable agreements.

8. Data Sharing

CalibrateIQ does not sell your personal information.

We do not share personal information with third parties for third-party behavioral advertising.

Information may be shared with service providers when necessary to operate CalibrateIQ, process subscriptions, provide requested integrations, maintain security, comply with applicable law, or respond to valid legal requests.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.

No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Data Retention

Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide CalibrateIQ services, maintain user records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.

Users may contact us to request deletion of eligible personal information or account-related information.
