Have you applied and removed all holds to your account? If you have not, contact admissions for any help. If you have, you are ready to start signing up for classes!
First, meet with your advisor to go over your degree plan, so you know which classes to register for. You can check your degree plan by yourself through CougarCompass Degree Audit.
The platform that you will be using is called Cougarweb. This website will allow you to view availability, register, pay fees, view financial aid, access Collin email, and more.
Click here for the dates when registration is available. Be sure that all the fees have been paid.
While the registration period is open, you can drop or add classes by using CougarWeb.
During the first four days of a long semester's classes as well as on the first day of a summer or mini-semester term, you can add and/or drop classes using CougarWeb. There will be different registration deadlines for express and weekend courses. To learn more, speak with a consultant. There is a hard stop registration deadline of the fourth day of the semester for 16-week courses.
Through the first day of the summer term, CougarWeb will accept additions and/or deletions for a single summer term.
Students who wait until the first day of the term to register for the first time will be charged a $10 late fee.
Is the desired class full? After the early registration payment deadline but before the start of the semester, join the waitlist. When a registration add error appears, choose "Waitlisted" in the Action box before choosing "Submit Changes." You'll get a CougarMail alert whenever a seat becomes available. You have just 24 hours to confirm and make a payment.
