This app is provided 'as-is' for alpha-testing. Updated June 19, 2025. See below for providing feedback.
This app tabulates DNA data from Ancestry.com, MyHeritage, and 23&Me. It was developed by David Nowotnik, one of our members, using Claude 3.5 Sonnet AI. It is intended to tabulate match data, shared match data, filtered or unfiltered. On any DNA data page from any of the three sources, click CTRL-A then CTRL-C (CMD-A and CMD-C on a Mac) to copy the data to clipboard. Click the paste box below to activate it, then click CTRL-V (or CMD-V) to paste the data into the paste box. You should get a table of the data. Click the copy button to copy the data to clipboard, then paste into a spreadsheet for further analysis. Pasting new data into the paste box replaces the prior data
Note that with Ancestry.com's new data format, pressing CTRL-A does not always select all data on the page. It is recommended that you scroll to the end of the page and click blank space near the bottom of the page, then press CTRL-A. For the Ancestry DNA match list, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the page to increase the listing increment from 20 to 50 matches per page.
If an error occurs in tabulation, please tell the developer at colleyvillegenealogy@gmail.com, providing as much detail as possible. Likewise, if the app is working well for you, feedback is also appreciated. The plan is to have this app replace the Ancestry and 23&Me tabulation apps that are also in this "Member Contributions" section.
NOTE: To use this application, please use a chromium-based browser such as Chrome, Edge, Brave, etc. Copy and paste works differently in Firefox, and so Firefox is not suitable to use with this application.
