The College Movie Festival is Greater Cincinnati's long-running student filmmaking production celebration and competition. Students from participating colleges write, shoot, and edit movies with academic oversight for two and a half weeks. Then, three weeks later, the student filmmakers receive feedback and network with working area filmmaking professionals who have seen and made notes on the movies - receiving tips on making their movies better and exploring how the productions evolved. From there the students refine their movies to their final cuts which are screened and select awards are presented at a commercial movie theatre.
