FINANCIAL AID

FAFSA: Need to apply for federal financial aid? Go to the FAFSA Website! Before you apply you'll have to get an FSA ID here: https://fsaid.ed.gov/ If you need to renew your FAFSA, you'll have to log in first. 

FAFSA Completion Assistance: If you need 1:1 help completing the FAFSA, visit the FAFSA page to learn more or to make a virtual appointment with Brittany! She will help students & families complete the FAFSA form via Zoom. 

Swift Students: Need to file a financial aid appeal to apply for more financial aid from your school? Need more financial aid to afford a laptop? This website will create an appeal letter for you to download & email right to your financial aid office!

Enrollment Fee Waiver: Having trouble paying your fee to enroll in classes? Use this waiver to let your school know you aren't able to afford the fee at this time.

CHEAPER TEXTBOOK OPTIONS

Textbooks are EXPENSIVE. Check out these two websites to try & save some money! You can also check your local library or campus library for textbooks. 

Chegg: Chegg has cheaper options to rent or buy textbooks but they also have so many other great resources like a flashcard creator, math solver, writing help and more. But, be careful, some services require you to pay.

 Amazon Books: We're sure you're familiar with Amazon but you might not be as familiar with their textbook service. You can buy or rent actual textbooks or sometimes an eBook version! You can even search the ISBN right on their website to be sure you get the correct book.

Cheapest Textbooks: Great option for finding some cheap textbooks! They also have a twitter page @CheapTextbooks with fun content.

STUDY & WRITING HELP

Quizlet: Make online flashcards and study guides with ease! They've got lots of great resources to help you become a pro at studying.

Purdue OWL: Lots of schools offer online writing help but the Purdue Online Writing Lab is one of the best. They've got lots of resources to help you site your sources for research papers in APA or MLA format. The lab has general writing help, job search help, and even help for students that speak English as a second language. Some help is restricted to students but lots of the information is open to all! 

SCHOLARSHIPS

FastWeb: Create a profile and they'll email you any scholarships that might be a good fit! They also have internship and part-time jobs they can connect you to via email. 

Niche: You can also get connected to scholarships with Niche. They also have a search function so you can search for scholarships that match with your major, state and more!

College Greenlight: They will help you get connected to scholarships but also to the college of your dreams! You can search for colleges and view their profile and see if it's a good match based on their match meter.

FUTURE COLLEGE ATHLETES

NAIA: If you're interested in going to a smaller college to play sports, check the NAIA eligibility center for help!

NCAA: If you're interested in going to a bigger college to play sports, check the NCAA eligibility center for help!
