The Durham Police Department is hosting a Law Enforcement Career Information Fair for Durham High School Juniors and Seniors.  Current Durham Police Explorers are also encouraged to attend. Students will learn about opportunities available to them while they’re in high school and the benefits and rewards of becoming a Durham Police Officer after graduation.  A recruiter from Appalachian State University will also be speaking about their Officer Development Program where college students are able to earn their degree and law enforcement certification at the same time.
