In 1950, Harvard University intiated a project to interview Soviet refugees who came to the United States after WWII. This is known as the Harvard Project on the Soviet Social System. The first document is from a refugee who lived in Russia at the time of collectivization. The second is a document from a refugee who lived in Azerbaijan at the time of collectivization.
