All rentals support the continued programs, community initiatives, and revitalization of West Louisville. Priority may be given to events that:
Serve the West Louisville community and it's residents directly
Support nonprofit or educational goals
Align with Cole's Foundation’s mission and values
Our goal is to ensure Cole’s Center remains a space for impact and collaboration.
Outdoor Capacity: 300 Seated | 700+ Standing
Available amenities depend on the rental option selected and may include outdoor space access, picnic tables, seating, stage access, sound system use, tent access, vendor or food truck access, electricity, portable bathrooms and staffed event support.

*Please note sending an email does not confirm your event date. Your rental is not confirmed until availability is verified, the rental option is approved, required documents are submitted, and any required payment or deposit is received.
Cole’s Foundation offers three outdoor rental options based on the size, purpose, and setup needs of your event: Basic Outdoor Rental, Enhanced Event Rental, and Premier Event Rental. Additional fees may apply for extra rental time, additional equipment, extended setup or breakdown, staffing needs, excessive cleanup, damage, or special event requests.
Basic Outdoor Rental
The Basic Outdoor Rental is ideal for small gatherings, birthday parties, meetings, family-friendly events, and casual community use.
Includes:
Access to outdoor space only
Picnic tables and seating
No stage access
No sound system access
Pricing: $200 for up to 3 hours | $50 per additional hour
Enhanced Event Rental
The Enhanced Event Rental is best for celebrations, community programs, receptions, small performances, and events that need additional support.
Includes:
Access to outdoor space and stage
Sound system included
Seating and tables included
Setup and breakdown support
Pricing: $350 for up to 4 hours | $75 per additional hour
Premier Event Rental
The Premier Event Rental is designed for large-scale community events, pop-up markets, food truck events, fundraisers, festivals, and signature experiences.
Includes:
Full outdoor space access
Stage and sound system
Tent and seating
Vendor or food truck access
Staffed event support
Pricing: $750–$1,200 per event for 6+ hours
Optional add-ons may include:
Projector access
Additional sound equipment
Branded backdrop rental
Additional tables or seating
Vendor setup support
Custom event enhancements
How far in advance should I request a rental?
Rental requests should be submitted as early as possible to allow time for scheduling, approval, planning, payment, and required documentation. Larger events, vendor events, and events requesting Community Partner Pricing may require additional planning time.
Can I rent the space for more than the included rental time?
Yes. Additional hours may be available depending on the rental option selected and venue availability.
Can individuals rent the space?
Yes. Individuals may request to rent the outdoor space for private gatherings, celebrations, meetings, or family-friendly events. Approval is based on availability, event type, and space use.
Can businesses rent the space?
Yes. Businesses may request to rent the space for approved events, pop-ups, community activations, meetings, or celebrations. Vendor activity, sponsorships, or sales must be disclosed during the booking process.
Can I charge admission for my event?
Absolutely! Please include this information in your rental request email so Cole’s Foundation can review the event structure and determine any additional requirements.
Can I have music or a DJ?
Yes. All music, sound levels, and event timing must follow Cole’s Foundation guidelines and any applicable local requirements.
Can I serve food?
Food may be allowed with prior approval. Caterers, food vendors, and food trucks may be required to provide permits, licenses, insurance, and setup details before the event.
Can alcohol be served?
No. Alcohol is not permitted on Cole’s Foundation property. Alcohol may not be served, sold, distributed, consumed, stored, or brought onto the property by renters, guests, vendors, food trucks, caterers, volunteers, performers, or event partners. This policy applies to all rentals and events.
