Parent Info Session Coming in September
The Archie R. Cole Middle School Drama Club is a vibrant, inclusive, and self-sustaining theater community dedicated to introducing students to the multi-faceted world of the performing arts. Operating as a free after-school academic program, the club ensures that creative opportunities are accessible to every student who wishes to participate.
Our comprehensive hands-on program extends over four months each season, bringing together nearly 100 students annually, including actors, artistic designers, stage crew, prop crafters, and scenic artists. Through weekly after-school rehearsals focused on dancing, singing, and acting, students explore their creative imaginations in a structured, safe, and supportive environment.
The Cole Drama Club experience goes far beyond the stage. By collaborating to produce high-quality musical productions, our students develop vital life skills, including public speaking confidence, literacy, critical thinking, and teamwork. They learn the deep value of ensemble acting, discovering that every individual contribution is essential to bringing the story to life.
Our annual productions at the East Greenwich High School Auditorium have become a cherished community tradition, drawing nearly 1,000 audience members each year. This magic is made possible entirely through the dedication of our parent volunteers, partner staff, and the generous support of East Greenwich families and local business sponsors. Together, we continue to invest in deeply meaningful, community-building, and life-affirming experiences that help our students shine both on and off the stage.
