Most colubrids have very similar dietary needs and visual weight requirements, below is a drop down of some helpful for charts for how often to feed your scaly friend and how to tell if they're the proper weight without a scale!
This is a general idea for weight for most colubrids. Some colubrids should be a little less round, and some a little more, but this chart is a good way to get an idea for how healthy the weight of your animal is!
Here's a chart for roughly what size food should be and how often to feed! Some Indvidual's or species may need smaller or larger food, and may need fed more or less frequently, but this chart is a good base for feedings! For colubrids still growing, their food should be about twice as big as the widest part of the snakes body, for those who are done growing, food should only be a little bit bigger than the widest part of their body. If you can't see a lump after feeding your snake, the food was too small!
You also shouldn't handle your snake after feeding, wait at least three days or until after they poo.
And this chart is more designed for corn snakes! Some large individuals may need rats as rarely, some corn snakes can get to 6ft long! Although, 3-4ft is average.
The next drop downs are for enclosure care and setups for different species of colubrids!
