The Little Things

What's up, everyone! My name is Colby. I'm 19 years old, and I'm from Dalton, Massachusetts. Growing up in the Berkshires has been a peaceful experience. While there isn't always a lot to do, you learn to find ways to stay busy and make the most of where you live. Sports were a huge part of my life growing up, and they took up most of my time. It wasn't until my senior year of high school, when I picked up a guitar, that I discovered music was one of my true passions. Since then, it's become an important part of who I am.

My Story

After taking a guitar class at my high school, I had the opportunity to perform in our school's talent show. The positive feedback I received gave me the confidence to start posting my music on TikTok. From there, I began attending the Calliope Cafe, a free monthly showcase where young musicians can perform and share their original music and their talent in general.

Playing at the Calliope Cafe helped me gain more exposure and made me more comfortable on stage overall. Soon after that I was opening for other bands and performing during their intermissions. Since then, I've had the opportunity to headline many of my own live shows while also opening for larger acts. This summer has been packed with performances and opportunities, and it has completely surpassed anything I could have imagined last year. I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way. None of this would be possible without all of yall. THANK YOU!
