Privacy Policy for CoinHool
Last Updated: October 4, 2026
CoinHool ("the app", "we", "us") is developed by Erez Studio. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use CoinHool on iOS and
Android, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
CoinHool does not require an account. We do not ask for or store your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
Information stored on your device
Preferences such as your watchlist, favorite coins, currency, language, and theme are stored locally on your device. They are not sent to our servers.
Information collected automatically
When you use the app, we and our third-party partners may automatically collect:
- Device information: device model, operating system and version, language, time zone, and app version.
- Usage information: screens viewed, features used, session length, app installs and app opens.
- Diagnostic information: crash logs and performance data.
- Identifiers: your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Google Advertising ID on Android), app instance IDs, and your IP address.
Some of this information, such as advertising identifiers and IP address, may be considered personal data under laws like the GDPR or CCPA. We do not use it
to identify you by name.
2. How We Use Information
We use this information to:
- Provide and maintain the app, including showing cryptocurrency prices and market data.
- Understand how the app is used so we can improve features (Firebase Analytics).
- Detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and bugs (Firebase Crashlytics).
- Measure how well our advertising campaigns work, for example how many people installed the app after seeing an ad.
Advertising measurement with Meta
The app includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK. It sends app events (such as app installs and app opens), device information, IP address, and, where permitted,
your advertising identifier to Meta Platforms, Inc. This helps us measure the effectiveness of our ads on Facebook and Instagram.
- On iOS, your advertising identifier is shared with Meta only if you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Otherwise, measurement
relies on privacy-preserving, aggregated methods such as Apple's SKAdNetwork.
- On Android, your advertising identifier may be shared unless you have opted out or deleted it in your device settings (see Section 5).
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the app to show third-party ads inside CoinHool.
3. Third-Party Services
CoinHool uses, or works with, the following third parties. Each has its own privacy policy:
┌───────────────────────────────┬────────────────────────────────────────┬─────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│ Service │ Purpose │ Privacy Policy │
├───────────────────────────────┼────────────────────────────────────────┼─────────────────────────────────────────────┤

Market data shown in the app is obtained from third-party cryptocurrency data providers. These requests do not include your personal information.
4. iOS App Tracking Transparency
On iOS 14.5 and later, the app asks for your permission before tracking you across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track",
we do not share your IDFA with Meta or other partners. You can change this choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Even without tracking permission, Apple's SKAdNetwork may report aggregated campaign results. These results do not identify you or your device.
5. Your Choices and Rights
- iOS: turn tracking off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: delete your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).
- Meta: review and manage information Meta receives from apps and websites at https://www.facebook.com/off-facebook-activity.
- Delete local data: uninstall the app to remove all preferences stored on your device.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, UK, or California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your
personal data. We do not hold an account or profile linked to your identity. So in most cases the most effective way to exercise these rights is the device
settings above, or contacting the relevant partner directly. You can also contact us at the address below, and we will help where we can.
6. Data Retention
We do not store your personal data on our own servers. Data collected by third-party partners is kept according to their own retention policies. For example,
Firebase Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months by default.
7. Children's Privacy
CoinHool is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has
provided information through the app, please contact us and we will take steps to address it.
8. Security
We rely on industry-standard measures provided by our partners, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect information in transit. No method of
transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last Updated" date above will be revised. We
encourage you to review this page periodically.
