This Privacy Policy explains how PuzzleOrbit ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. PuzzleOrbit is developed by Blockwise Technologies ("Developer").
PuzzleOrbit does not require an account, login, or registration of any kind to play. We do not knowingly collect your name, email address, or any other information that directly identifies you.
PuzzleOrbit is intended for users aged 13 and older. The app asks for your age bracket the first time you open it and does not admit users who indicate they are under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us at the address below so we can address it.
Users who indicate they are 13-17 are tagged as under the age of consent for advertising purposes (see Section 3), which limits the ad personalization and data collection Google's ad systems are permitted to perform for that segment.
We do not operate our own backend or database of user accounts. The information below is collected only through the third-party services integrated into the app, described in Section 3.
Advertising identifiers. Your device's advertising ID (Android) or IDFA (iOS, only if you allow tracking) is collected to serve and measure ads. This is not tied to your identity by us — no account exists to link it to.
Diagnostic data. Crash logs, stack traces, device model, and OS version are collected to help us find and fix bugs. This is not tied to your identity.
Gameplay analytics. We collect which game mode you opened, puzzles completed, streak activity, and app opens/sessions, to understand which features are used so we can improve the app. This is not linked to a name, email, or account.
Age bracket. The coarse age range you select at onboarding (Under 13 / 13-17 / 18+) — never your exact age or birthdate — is collected to gate access and configure ad settings appropriately. This is not tied to your identity.
Local, on-device-only data. Your streak count, badges, XP/progress, and settings are stored only on your device to run the game, and are never uploaded to us.
We deliberately store only a coarse age bracket, never a birthdate or exact age — this is a data-minimization choice.
PuzzleOrbit integrates the following third-party SDKs. Each operates under its own privacy policy, linked below — we encourage you to review them.
Serves the ads that fund the app (banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads — for example, rewarded ads are used to unlock puzzle hints). AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and other device information to serve and measure ads, and may show personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your region, consent choices, and age bracket. On iOS, we request App Tracking Transparency permission before any tracking-related identifier is used; if you decline, you still see ads, just not tracking-based ones. Collects gameplay and usage events (e.g., which game mode was opened, puzzles completed) to help us understand feature usage. Firebase Analytics also automatically collects standard events such as app opens and session starts. Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Collects crash reports and diagnostic data (device model, OS version, stack traces) to help us identify and fix bugs. Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Used to deliver push notifications, including occasional announcements. This uses a device-level messaging token, not a personal account. Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
In addition to the push notifications above, PuzzleOrbit schedules notifications directly on your device (for example, a Daily Challenge reminder or a streak reminder). These are generated and scheduled entirely on your device based on your in-app activity (like your current streak) — no data about these leaves your device or is sent to us. You can disable notifications at any time in your device's system settings or the app's in-app settings.
We do not sell your information. We do not maintain servers that store personal profiles tied to individual users. Information is shared only with the third-party service providers listed in Section 3, each acting in their role as an advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting provider, and each governed by their own privacy policy.
Because PuzzleOrbit has no accounts, there is no personal profile for us to retain or for you to request deletion of. On-device data (your streak, progress, and settings) can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's storage/data in your device settings. Diagnostic and analytics data sent to Google's services is retained according to Google's own retention policies, described in the links above.
Ad personalization: You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads; iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, or Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising).
App Tracking Transparency (iOS): You'll be asked for tracking permission on first launch; you can change this later in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Notifications: Disable at any time in your device's notification settings or the app's own settings screen.
Consent (EEA/UK/Switzerland users): Where required, a consent dialog (via Google's User Messaging Platform) is shown before any ads requiring consent are served, letting you choose your ad preferences.
PuzzleOrbit is not directed at children under 13, and our age gate is designed to prevent access by users who identify as under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. See Section 1.
We rely on the security practices of our third-party providers (Google/Firebase, Google AdMob) for any data processed through their services. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
