COG Empowers You Disability Services offers the following range of support services that include:
One- on -one support to improve your skills as an actor, singer, assistant director, or crew member and to improve your ability to be selected and hold a speaking or singing role in a theatre or musical production;
Using drama techniques to help you develop your social skills, communication, negotiation, conflict management, self-esteem, and confidence to facilitate your involvement with the group members;
Assistance with ensuring that you observe cast guidelines for attendance at rehearsals or workshops;
Providing training and disability support services to enable you to provide leadership assistance in the running of drama workshops, soup kitchen and learning a skill in the theatre group i.e. singing, prop preparation, the outreach soup kitchen, public speaking presentations, performances; and
Assistance with attending workshops and rehearsals with improving your life skills and the way you present yourself in your physical appearance, and your social and inter personal behaviour
Our Support Workers can also assist with mobility, transfers or personal care, and will support you in your chosen activity for the duration of your booking.
Participants receiving funding through NDIS will have their costs charged to their funding package.
