2018/2019 FIRE TRAINING NOMINATION INFO

IMPORTANT: Courses with early due dates which will be prioritized September 13th (see below). All other training nominations will be prioritized locally on October 11th and need to be to your unit training officer no later than October 9th...and earlier if possible.

NOTES ABOUT NOMINATIONS AND DUE DATES:

• Due dates listed on training schedules are the dates which nominations need to be submitted by from each unit, HAVING ALREADY BEEN PRIORITIZED, for earliest consideration. This is why local submission deadlines and prioritization dates are earlier than listed on the schedules.
• Most courses do not require a hard copy nomination form, only that it be submitted online through IQCS or a Google based form. Speak with your local unit fire training officer to put in for desired courses. More often than not a hard copy form is not required, but those that do may also require supplemental forms or information.

**In all cases, you must work through your unit fire training officer to make sure all is in order**

***The nomination process for each class will be described in the course details link for each class.

Talk with your unit fire training officer first. Nominations sent outside of the local and regional prioritization process will NOT be acted on by NAFRI. This means you must especially provide your unit training officer with detail of NAFRI nomination submitted through their process. There are other courses on the PNW, National Schedule, as well as from other regions, that will use a different process and have a variety of due dates. That information is provided on the SESSION DETAILS link for each class. Some of these courses will use an electronic nomination process through IQCS and others will require submission of the NWCG nomination form. Please be aware of this and make sure nominations are submitted well ahead of the due date.
