Jedi Code & Interpretation
At the start of the event, once the training has closed you will recite the Jedi Code in full. (Repeating after the host.):
There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.
There is no death, there is the Force.
After all attendees have completed the final line, the host will then explain the Jedi Code and its importance. Ensure that you take notes during the lectures, as note-taking is going to be what allows you to pass or fail. The act of taking notes allows the host to acknowledge that the attendee paid attention throughout the session and took something away from it all. The host should take their time on this section so that all in attendance can take in the provided interpretation of the code:
The first line of the Jedi Code, "There is no emotion, there is peace." can read as the Jedi cannot allow emotion to root itself deeply in the mind and heart of the Jedi as it clouds a Jedi's better judgment. Attachment and emotion itself can lead an individual down a path of darkness if that attachment is severed.
The second line of the Jedi Code holds knowledge as the key to supersede ignorance, the line reads, "There is no ignorance, there is knowledge." The expansion of knowledge ultimately becomes more powerful than any physical weapon a Jedi can wield.
The third line of the Jedi Code, "There is no passion, there is serenity." ties back to the first line, "There is no emotion, there is peace.". Passion and attachment go hand in hand and are often most present in the bonds between Master and Apprentice. The stronger the bond, the deeper the attachment goes, the more of a risk of falling from the Light grows.
The Jedi are the peacekeepers of the galaxy and aim to spread tranquility in the universe around them. "There is no chaos, there is harmony." is the fourth line of the Jedi Code and it pushes the aforementioned idea of the pursuit of peace as opposed to instigating chaos and disorder.
The Force is an extension of oneself, not just physically or mentally, but spiritually also. The Jedi do not believe that there is an end when our physical bodies inevitably expire but believe that they live on within the Cosmic Force. Death is a natural occurrence and the Jedi are taught not to fear it, but to accept it as "There is no death, there is the Force."
Laws of the Order
Next, the host will explain the Laws of the Order briefly, it is the responsibility of the attendee to read each lawfully once the event has been concluded, but the host will generalize each section as seen below:
The Territory Laws of the Order are meant to highlight where members can and cannot go unless of course, they meet the criteria to access a specific area. Some areas are bound by rank, and others are bound by team, and you, as a member of the Order must respect these boundaries. Trespassing is prohibited and will be met with various degrees of punishment.
The Laws of Tradition are what keep the members of the Order immersed on-world and uphold a visual standard of how members should present themselves. The ability to express oneself either through thoughts, opinions, or dress wear is valued, however, the dress code is set in place to either assist in signifying rank or status.
The Training Laws present are designed to ensure that all events are conducted properly and that progression is kept fair for all members and no one is gaining an advantage over another.
Combative Laws are set in place so that any saber-to-saber engagement is conducted within the confines of what is deemed acceptable and fair.
Progression
Following that, the host will give a brief summary of how ranking up works within the Order, much like this:
In the Jedi Order, each rank is locked behind specific requirements that are tailored to that rank in particular. Completing said requirements will allow you to take a step forward in your journey within the Order. No set of requirements will ever be the same and you are not permitted to reuse the evidence you previously provided to rank up again. Once you have everything in order to progress, you may go to a Master or higher so they may review your requirements and promote you, or inform you that something is missing. You do not have to do this until you reach Initiate.
Councils
Next, you will cover what each Council does and its purpose, you do not have to go into extensive detail but you still need to cover each point:
The Jedi High Council is the governing body of the Jedi Order whose job is to ensure that all facets of the Order are operational and are functioning to the best of their abilities. Councilors tend to hold leadership positions within one of the three Minor Councils to ensure that information, changes, and concerns reach the entirety of the Council so that it is addressed appropriately.
The Council of First Knowledge is responsible for the upkeep of accumulated knowledge. This Council manages the Jedi Archives & Jedi Academy, distributing information to the other facets of the Order, and passing on knowledge and wisdom to all who seek it.
The Council of Reassignment is responsible for maintaining the training and quality of staff through the Instructor Academy and would repurpose Initiates who failed their Trials to serve the Order in other ways through the Jedi Service Corps.
The Council of Reconciliation seeks peaceful resolutions to disputes both on and off-world. The Council of Reconciliation is responsible for keeping the peace by any means possible, whether it be by enforcing laws, negotiating with other factions and worlds, or supporting planets in need.
Quiz
After all of the notes and explanations are done, the attendees must take a quiz to pass this training. So long as the questions you ask pertain to the content gone over, they may be used. The example below may have questions asked in a different order than shown.

Teaching spam strikes is strictly forbidden and should not be utilized in any official event.
The Combat Training begins with explaining the expectations of the Training, rules, and the overview. The event rules are designed to ensure the Training is conducted swiftly and fairly so it is important to cover them briefly. The Foundations of Combat cover Form I, Shii-Cho and is the most basic Form the Order has to teach, and it is one to fall back on when all else fails. To start off with you will read the Form description to your attendees, which should be detailed, and explain the purpose and use of the Form. Below is an example of what should be gone over, though it is recommended you use your own description or the one provided in the Archives:
"The oldest of all Forms and the first to evolve from the ancient discipline of sword fighting, also known as the Determination Form or the Way of the Sarlacc. Shii-Cho is the first form a youngling learns as they begin their Journey within the Order. The Form is designed to teach the basics of Lightsaber combat, focusing on dividing a target into zones that works attacks in all directions, and prompt the user to partake in parrying or even disarm an opponent as opposed to killing them. Shii-Cho is meant to be a Form any Jedi can fall back on when all else fails in combat. Because the Form is so ingrained in the muscle memory of each Jedi, it later presents itself as the foundation of all Forms in advanced instruction. " TGJO Codex explanation
Once the written portion of the Training is gone over, explaining and demonstrating the mechanics in-game are next. You will be covering the basic in-game saber mechanics present:
Block (RMB)
Swing (LMB)
Dash (E)
Flip (CTRL
Low flip (CTRL + SPACE)
You will then have the attendees try out the keybinds at least once before moving on to how all of these binds come together in one concise Form. Shii-Cho with these sabers presents itself as fighting in a super basic sense. Whilst demonstrating, point out that this Form does not use shiftlock as the other Froms do. In terms of defense, you should only be putting your guard up when provoked, this means initiating a block once engaged in combat. After blocking, proceed to swing whilst out of shiftlock still. It's important to note that blocking with the saber pointed down is more beneficial than it pointing upwards, as downwards allows you to strike twice after executing a stun (blocking right as an attack comes in).
After demonstrating how the Form should look, pair the attendees up and have them practice what was shown. Be attentive and step in to correct your attendees if you see that they're doing something incorrectly or are struggling to accomplish something. Explain in further detail if needed if you're seeing a trend with a training component not clicking for your attendees. Passing this training is not based on duels successfully won between attendees, passing is dependent on the behavior, attentiveness, and effort shown by the attendees on an individual level. If they have shown at the very least, a basic understanding of how to perform this Form and were generally behaved for the duration of the event, you may pass them.
Blocking twice after ignition executes this type of block.
Blocking once or three times after ignition executes this type of block.

Location: Naboo (Archives)
Duration: 15 - 20 Minutes (Minimum)
Gather all attendees into the Archives (directly in front of spawn) and have them be seated at one of the computers that are present. Ideally, all attendees should be at the same table unless you have a larger turnout. Once everyone is seated, you will begin the Lecture by explaining the rules and purpose of the event. Afterward, you will provide an example of a research summary for the attendees to reference. Summaries should be between 5 - 8 sentences and should be somewhat original in writing. As it, should not copy the provided text word for word:
"All Kyber Crystals are a hybrid of organic and inorganic material that lives through the Force. Kyber Crystals can be found on most planets, but are predominantly located on Ilum where the Force would guide a Jedi to it. When a Crystal is touched by a Jedi that was not called out to by the Crystal, it would feel cold to the touch and not reveal its color. When a Crystal does call out to its user, they experience a sort of music that guides them to the crystal. Through the bond of the Crystal and the user, the color could shift to match the nature of the user. The Crystal, the blade, the Jedi become linked through the Force and the crystal color would shift with the personality of the user. If the user fell to the Darkside, the Crystal would suffer. Much like other lifeforms, the Crystals experience pain through the process of bleeding. Bleeding is where the user would pour their negative emotions into the Crystal, forcing it to turn red as it bent to the will of the user. It is possible for a Jedi to bring the Crystal back from the Darkside by purifying it, doing so would make the Crystal turn white in most instances." Akeither's Kyber Crystal case study
Once the example has been provided, the host will give the attendees ten minutes to research and provide a summary on a topic of their choosing. All summaries must be between 5 - 8 sentences and show that effort has been put into the writing and that it is not directly copied word for word. Summaries that are word for word result in a failure, summaries that stray from that and lean into originality in formating and sentence structure will result in a pass. Do not expect something perfect or completely unplagiarized.

Commands
- Open the Temple. (Opens the Temple)
- Close the Temple. (Closes the Temple)
- Begin the Trial. (Melts the ice wall)
Gather everyone at the landing pads and then walk to the Temple doorway. Use the command "Open the Temple." To open the Temple doors, then close them immediately with "Close the Temple." once every attendee is inside. At the steps of the ice door, explain the rules and purpose of the Trial, the attendees will have ten minutes to collect their crystals and escape. Failure to escape alive with a crystal will result in a failure, and not escaping at all is also a failure. Passing the Gathering entails that an attendee must escape with a Kyber Crystal in time. Once all attendees have successfully escaped, you must then have them recite the Crystal Code:
The crystal is the heart of the blade.
The heart is the crystal of the Jedi.
The Jedi is the crystal of the Force.
The Force is the blade of the heart.
All are intertwined.
The crystal, the blade, the Jedi.
We are one.
The crystal will gain color once the final line of the Crystal Code has been said, and you may then pass the attendees.
A Kyber Crystal that has not been harmonized with a Jedi.
A Crystal that has been bound to its chosen Jedi.
