Note: The nearest international airport is Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) in Guwahati, Assam.

1. Arrive at Guwahati Airport (Code: GAU). 

2. Hire a Prepaid Taxi or Shared Cab: You will find a government-approved prepaid taxi counter just outside the arrivals gate.

   • Shared Sumo/Traveller: Approx. ₹400–₹600 per seat. Takes about 3–4 hours.

   • Private Exclusive Cab: Approx. ₹2,500–₹3,500. Takes about 3-4 hours.

3. The Route: The cab will take you through the scenic Meghalaya state highway, crossing the lush hills of Umiam Lake (Barapani).

4. Destination: Instruct the driver to drop you at the venue.

5. Pro Tip: Road conditions can be hilly and winding. If you are prone to motion sickness, carry medication and sit in the front seat.
