Using the Simulator

The Coffee Sensor App includes a full sensor simulator so you can explore the app without any hardware.

To enable it, open the Bluetooth tab and turn on Use Simulator.

Then switch to the Plot tab and watch the shot unfold in real time:

0:00 Temperature begins rising as the espresso machine warms up

0:30 Espresso extraction starts — pressure and flow come alive

1:10 Extraction completes; the plot freezes so you can review the shot

2:10 Plot resets and resumes live monitoring

4:40 Espresso machine begins cooling down

5:00 A second extraction begins automatically

The simulator loops continuously, giving you a realistic feel for how the Coffee Sensor App behaves during a real session.
