Carol Harper is a freelance writer and community media consultant residing in Riverton, Wyoming. She manages GoRiverton based in Riverton, Wyoming, and currently serves in the capacity of Media & Communications for the Riverton Downtowners Main Street Alliance, Fremont County Master Gardeners, board member of the Fremont County Law Enforcement Foundation, and Project & Outreach Coordinator for MMIP Wind River.
Carol has been a reporter/writer for County 10, Riverton Ranger, Amador Ledger Dispatch, Gold Country Times, and Calaveras Times. She was the Editor of The Horizon regional newsletter for AMR/Guardian Flight. She also served as President of the Nashville Christian Writers Association.
Carol has also been a vocal coach, composer/arranger, and for 35 years served in a music career as a Music Director, organist, pianist, vocalist and keyboardist for churches in California, Utah, and Nashville, TN.
Carol currently works for Frontier Ambulance, is the Relationship Management DCS Community Partnership Lead for the American Red Cross of Wyoming in Fremont County, and is a member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe.
