These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Coffee Friday mobile application ("App"), operated by Christian Altamura ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms.

3. User-Generated Content

The App allows you to submit reviews, ratings, photographs, and other content ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and modify your User Content in connection with operating and improving the App.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to submit your User Content.

• Your User Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party.

• Your User Content is accurate and not misleading.

• Your User Content does not contain unlawful, defamatory, obscene, abusive, threatening, or otherwise objectionable material.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable, without prior notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews or ratings.

• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users.

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other users' accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the App.

• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or interact with the App.

• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App.

• Manipulate ratings, points, leaderboards, or achievements through fraudulent or deceptive means.

5. Coffee Shop Information

The App contains information about coffee shops, including locations, hours, amenities, and other details. Much of this information is contributed by users. While we strive to maintain accuracy, we do not guarantee that any information in the App is accurate, complete, or current. Coffee shop hours, availability, and offerings may change without notice. Always verify details directly with the establishment.

6. Points, Badges, and Leaderboards

The App may include gamification features such as points, badges, achievements, and leaderboards. These features are provided for entertainment purposes and have no monetary value. We reserve the right to modify, reset, or discontinue any gamification features at any time without notice. Manipulation of these systems through fraudulent activity may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Subscriptions and Purchases

Certain features of the App may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase, processed through Apple's App Store and managed by RevenueCat. All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Subscription management, including cancellation, is handled through your Apple ID account settings.

Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple's refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, functionality, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Christian Altamura and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

"Coffee Friday" and the Coffee Friday logo are trademarks of Christian Altamura. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including, but not limited to, Firebase (authentication, database, and storage), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple MapKit (mapping and location services). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE APP IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CHRISTIAN ALTAMURA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE APP.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Christian Altamura from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State in which Christian Altamura resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
