2018-19 Highlights

September 2018

Tour of Meeker Elementary: Meeker Elementary's interior was completely remodeled following a flood in November 2017. Our chapter supported teachers and students during the 2017-28 school year with supplies and help with making math kits. It was exciting to see the redesign. Many of us remember the open concept of Meeker's original design from the mid 1970's.

A lucky teacher!

October 2018

Founder's Day is celebrated in October. We blessed several teachers in our community with $25 to spend as they wished. Members selected one of each of our elementary/K-8 public schools and worked with building administrators to randomly select a teacher to receive the cash gift.
