The Observatory

The UEMK Space Observatory offers a gateway to explore the night sky through powerful telescopes. Named the Prof. Amal Kumar Raychaudhuri Observatory for Astronomical Research, the observatory houses two optical telescopes, a radio telescope, an optical detector, a radio signal analyser, and other supporting instruments. The optical telescopes are installed within a dome measuring 9.85 feet in diameter.
