You will create an Interactive Thank You Card Frontline with Lynx. lynxcoding.club
Kids will learn LYNX!
LYNX is a Canadian-made programming environment.
Participants will:
think about all the various frontline workers who continue to serve us in the face of this pandemic.
empathize with specific challenges that different frontline workers have (e.g., truckers accessing food and washrooms; nurses visiting elderly parents...)
develop a message—what is the point of the Interactive Card?
use a Canadian-made, text-based coding language (in English, French, Ojibwe, or Mi'kmaw) to code the card!
share their finished card with frontline workers they know and publish to our gallery
Every submission will earn a ticket for a prize draw! There will be three prize draws before Monday, August 10th. Prizes include: micro:bits, Climate Action Kits, and Chromebooks. See FAQ for more information.
