Coding and VR are part of STEAM - which are studies in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. This module will provide an overview on Coding from K-12, a variety of robotics that work with coding, and new virtual reality technologies.
Discover various coding languages. Coding is the process of using a programming language to get a computer or a robot to behave how you want it to behave. Every line of code tells the computer and/or robot what to do.
Discover a variety of robotics that are used across the K-12 educational settings. Robotics originates in the field of engineering and science which deals with the creation and building of robots through computer programming.
Discover Virtual Reality (VR) that is used in the K-12 educational settings. Virtual Reality is a simulated experience that places the user in a virtual environment that they can interact with. There are key characteristics of virtual reality that make it different: one being the ability to experience and interact with imaginary or real places.
