Funds are available to support events that meet the needs outlined in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students’ Communication Plan. Applications will open on December 10th and will be reviewed and approved on a first-come, first-served basis for applications meeting all requirements. These include:
The activity must explicitly meet a need outlined in the Communication Plan.
Funds cannot be used for food.
Expenses must be reasonable and not excessive.
The total funding request cannot exceed $1,500.
Districts that are collaborating to host an event for students in multiple districts can request up to $4,000.
Priority will be given to teams that include neighboring districts, though this is not mandatory.

Hearing First is bringing back their most popular courses along with several brand new courses focused on pediatric audiology, coordinated care, and language and literacy development. Learners will have options between self-study courses and blended learning, which combines self-study with live sessions.
