Language Translator ("we," "our," or "us") operates the mobile application Language Translator (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Data Collection

No Personal Data Collected by Us: We do not collect, store, or sell personally identifiable information.

Translation Inputs: Any text, voice, or images you process through the App are used only locally or temporarily to provide translations and results. They are not permanently stored or transmitted to us. All translation data is processed in real-time and immediately discarded after results are delivered.

Firebase Services: Our App uses Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config. These services may automatically collect limited, non-identifiable data such as:

- Device information (model, OS version, app version)

- App usage data (feature usage, session duration)

- Crash reports and performance diagnostics

- Remote Config parameters to improve app experience

This data is collected and processed by Google Firebase in accordance with their privacy policies.

2. Permissions We Use

The App requests only the following permissions to enable its features:

- Internet: Required to connect with translation APIs and to enable Firebase services

- Camera: Used only when you capture images for text extraction and translation (OCR feature)

- Microphone: Used only for voice input during voice translation features

Permissions are used solely for their stated purposes. We do not access them for any other reason. You can deny these permissions, but certain features may not function.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal user information with third parties.

Third-party APIs (translation and OCR services) may process your input temporarily to provide results but do not store this data permanently.

4. Data Retention

Translation data is processed in real-time and is not stored by us.

Firebase Analytics data is retained according to Google's default retention period (14 months for user-level and event-level data).

You have the right to:

- Request information about data collected

- Request deletion of your data

- Opt-out of analytics (through device settings)

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The anonymous technical data collected by Firebase is not personally identifiable.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
