is a specific interactive system which is in a wide range of application areas, but there are with different degrees of usability problems. Therefore, it is necessary to provide a design method for Web usability. Based on the theory of user centered design (UCD) and usability engineering principles, Web usability design includes three aspects: user research, Web design, and Web evaluation. User research focuses on target users, and researches user's goal, behavior and views by user modeling based on personas. Web design focuses on information architecture design, readability design, search design and page design to design the self-described Web user interface with high-usability. Web evaluation is a measuring means for iterative process of Web usability design. The method will be a guideline to design and improve Web usability for designers.
Web sites internationalization of Croatian web sites is a problem remained from the beginnings of web. In most cases, only some general information that are rarely changed are available in foreign languages, and the reason for that is the lack of human resources to make translations, as well as the need of software adaptations to support multilingualism. This paper analyses some lexical characteristics of the selected Croatian academic web sites, compared with some other, like daily newspapers and culinary web sites in order to find out their suitability for machine translation. The findings are compared to the actual state of our dynamic translation system for web contents, named as Domain Translator.
Scial Commerce as a result of the advancement of Social Networking Sites and Web 2.0 is increasing as a new model of online shopping. With techniques to improve the website using AJAX, Adobe Flash, XML, and RSS, Social Media era has changed the internet user behavior to be more communicative and active in internet, they love to share information and recommendation among communities. Social commerce also changes the way people shopping through online. Social commerce will be the new way of online shopping nowadays. But the new challenge is business has to provide the interactive website yet interesting website for internet users, the website should give experience to satisfy their needs. This purpose of research is to analyze the website quality (System Quality, Information Quality, and System Quality) as well as interaction feature (communication feature) impact on social commerce website and customers purchase intention. Data from 134 customers of social commerce website were used to test the model. Multiple linear regression is used to calculate the statistic result while confirmatory factor analysis was also conducted to test the validity from each variable. The result shows that website quality and communication feature are important aspect for customer purchase intention while purchasing in social commerce website.
