Join our Magical Art Fest!
Kids! You are cordially invited to participate in our Magical Art Fest.
Submit your own digital artwork on the theme of "Magical", and we will publish them right here in our Playground.
For creating the artwork, we recommend the drawing tools in Scratch or MakeCode, familiar to kids who have attended our CoderDojo sessions. Other digital drawing tools are welcome, too. The artwork can be as simple as a picture, no code or animation required. (We won't say no to code, of course 🙂)
How to enter
Simply get your parent or guardian to email us your submission, and include these 5 things:
Your name
Location: CoderDojo location attended (if applicable)
Artwork: a screenshot of the artwork / picture (or for a project with code or animation, a public link to the project that we can share)
Tool: Indicate the tool used for creating the artwork
A short note: Describe the artwork or tell a short story - Max 100 words

The Smirking Magician

Jeffrey said this about his artwork created in Scratch:
The magician on the side is wearing a black tuxedo suit and pants, and black shoes.
He is holding his white-tipped black wand, which he is using to do magic. He is also wearing a black top hat with a white band.
He is smirking because he is amused at the magic he has created. The magic the magician is creating is a huge, colourful circle, which goes around a portal that goes somewhere, and the portal is purple, looks mysterious and has specks of white in it.

The earth gives us everything we need.
