QR Scanner ("we", "our", or "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the QR Scanner application handles information when you use the App.

The scanned content is processed to provide the requested functionality.
We do not automatically upload your scanned QR codes or barcode contents to our servers.
If you use the History feature, scanned results may be stored locally on your device so that you can view them later.
Your scan history may include:
Scanned content
QR/barcode type
Date and time of the scan
Information derived from the scanned content
This information is stored locally on your device using the application's local database.
We do not operate a cloud account or server-based synchronization service for your scan history.
You can delete individual history entries or clear your scan history using the controls provided within the App.
If you choose to scan a QR code or barcode from an image, the App may allow you to select an image from your device.
The selected image is used only to attempt QR/barcode detection.
The App does not need continuous access to your entire photo library for this functionality.
Where supported, the App may use Android's system Photo Picker, which allows users to provide access to selected images rather than their entire media library.
QR Scanner may allow you to generate QR codes from information that you voluntarily enter into the App.

Website URLs
Wi-Fi information
Phone numbers
Email addresses
SMS
Contact information
Information entered for QR generation is used only to generate the requested QR code.
QR Scanner may allow you to open URLs contained in scanned QR codes.
When you choose to open a URL, the destination website or application is controlled by the respective third party.
Once you leave QR Scanner and interact with an external website or application, that service's own privacy policy and terms apply.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites or services.
QR Scanner does not intentionally collect or transmit your scanned QR/barcode content to our servers.
The App does not require you to create an account.

Your name
Email address
Phone number
Contacts
Passwords
Payment information
Precise location
Photos
Camera recordings
QR scan history on our servers
unless you explicitly provide information to another application or website through an action you initiate, such as opening a URL, making a phone call, sending an email, or sharing content.

QR Scanner may use trusted Android and third-party libraries to provide its functionality, including libraries for:

Third-party libraries are used to provide application functionality. We do not intentionally configure them to collect or sell your QR scan contents.
Developers are responsible for understanding and disclosing the data practices of third-party SDKs included in their applications under Google Play's User Data policy.
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App.
Scan history is stored locally on your device rather than being uploaded to our servers.
However, no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should also protect your Android device using appropriate security measures such as a screen lock.
QR scan history remains on your device until you delete it.
You can delete:
Individual scan records
Multiple scan records
Your complete scan history
If you uninstall the App, locally stored application data may be removed by Android according to the device's application-data management behavior.
We do not maintain a server-side account containing your scan history.
QR Scanner is not specifically directed toward children under the applicable minimum age in their jurisdiction.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that appropriate action can be taken.
QR Scanner requests permissions only when they are required for an applicable feature.
Used for:
QR and barcode scanning.
The camera is not used for:
Recording videos
Background surveillance
Advertising
Tracking users
Android's permission model recommends requesting only permissions necessary for the feature being used.
