You can emulate your Micro:bit through https://makecode.microbit.org/ or if you have a PC/laptop, you can use a cable to transfer the data, BUT if you have a tablet or a phone you can use the App.

An then you can transfer your code without wire, with Bluetooth directly to your Micro:bit. Here is an example:
