The hosting partner

• informed the local authorities (City Hall, School Inspectorate, Police) about the visit of foreign teachers

• prepared an info-pack for the meeting with all the necessary information for the meeting (objectives of the meeting, participants, how to get to the city, contact person phone numbers, weather forecast, phone numbers in case of emergency, information about local customs, shortlist with elementary vocabulary)

• provided accommodation for teachers

• organized an opening ceremony

The partners

• developed their cultural competencies and knowledge about the Polish culture

• developed working skills in international groups

• fostered international communication

• acquired knowledge on how to support students’ academic and life success
  

Throughout the meeting, the teachers found out about the host school's education schedule and their workmates’ teaching methods. The host country implemented the visit into the timetable of the school, allowing guest teachers to take part in regular classes. At 2 open lessons, guest teachers had been able to see how the host country integrated stories into everyday practice using ICT that will help

to enrich the school curricula.

The participants spent their time together having meals, going on cultural visits, talking, discussing, sharing viewpoints and professional experiences.

Results of the mobility

• presentation of the partner's schools to students, families, school staff, representatives of the local government during a welcome ceremony,

• exhibition of the products created by each partner school at Stories Arts & Crafts workshops in Turkey,

• cultural workshop - making puppets from cutlery (Portuguese partner), making a clay plate, preparing dumplings (Polish partner),

• promoting the national heritage by the trips to important places (Warsaw, Kazimierz Dolny, Liw)

• developing knowledge on the diversity and value of partners' culture and languages as well as promoting intercultural dialogue.
