Create innovative projects that exemplify the feeling of summer by promoting social good.

Theme: Social Good

Participants: All students middle school and above, join us for our third ever hackathon presented by CodeEdu! SummerHacks invites hackers of all experience levels to create a project that utilizes machine learning/artificial intelligence. We encourage you to team up with others to create an app, website, widget, extension or even a machine learning model. You may create an entirely new project or leverage off of existing ones to create your very own masterpiece.

Project Requirements

WHAT TO BUILD

You may create a design/mockup that fully develops your ideas or you may create a functional project from code. Any apparatus that fulfills the aforementioned requirments will be acceptable.

WHAT TO SUBMIT

You can choose to submit a video (max 2 minutes), a presentation, or a demo link.

Be sure to submit any code in the form of a public Github™ repository.

Judges

Our hackathon is evaluated by industry professionals spanning Engineering, Software Engineering, Business, and the medical industry. These experts not only assess projects and offer valuable feedback but also bring their expertise to gauge the potential impact and transformative capabilities of each endeavor. In addition to industry professionals, we also have high school/college judges participating. Even if you're not submitting a project, you can still interact with our diverse panel of judges throughout the event!
