Long story short-ish, it’s a digital zine-shaped newsletter of at least 28-36 pages, conveniently landing in your email once a month. It’s hand-drawn and written by me, and while I don’t claim to be a good illustrator, per se, it’s shaping up to be kind of fun.
It is definitely more fun than the spam or the ads for your local big-box store.
(Plus, there are probably 864 times more dog stories than your usual mail, which is always good.)

When I first started this little project, the idea was to set a time limit (one year) and aim for a newsletter once a month for that time. The reason for that is, as you might know if you follow me elsewhere, I've got some gnarly depression and anxiety issues that pop up from time to time and like to derail even my best intentions. The world goes all sideways and it feels like an elephant is sitting on my chest, so getting anything done is like trying to swim through already-set Jell-O. Giving myself the time limit meant that it wasn't just an open-ended project, which was, at the time, much less threatening to my Depression Elephant.
But in making this thing every month, and slowly learning more about print and illustration and all the fun adventures I've been having so I can write about them...? They've worked some kind of mojo magic on my brainmeats and it's literally the thing that gets me out of bed in the morning.
I'm not giving that up for any silly, arbitrary timeframes. Coddiwomple will keep...well...coddiwompling until y'all are sick to death of me and want me to stop. Until then, every month, I'll be drawing pictures of my dog for you.
If you subscribe at ANY POINT before that month's issue is mailed, you'll get that same month's issue (the link will hit your inbox about the end of the month).

First of all, I'm a buffoon with MANY pens, thankyouverymuch. I'd like to think it's part of my unique charm.
That said, you are welcome to drop in and out at your pleasure. There are no contracts or anything, and unless you make special arrangements with me ahead of time, there's no way to buy a subscription longer than just month to month. It's safer for us both that way.
You can cancel at any time through your Ko-fi login, and resubscribe the same way if you decide your inbox is just nowhere near as fun without it later.
Either way, I'm beyond grateful for every subscriber, whether they're here for a month or until the end of time. <3
(p.s. Just for the sake of netiquette, you're cordially welcome to not call me a buffoon, though. To my face, at least.)

Since we've switched from physical to digital (as of September 2023's issue), it makes precisely zero difference where you are in the world! It's just five US bucks per month, whether you're in Detroit or Tahiti.
(I will say, though, by way of disclaimer: I have no idea how that whole VAT thing works. I don't think you need to pay extra to your governments for tax, but you might. Please know your own laws -- there's no way I can keep up with an entire planet's worth of regulations.)
