2. Lesro Newport Series
Another popular choice for healthcare customers is the Lesro Newport Series. The Newport Series is available in a durable steel finish and is about 10% less expensive than the Lenox Series. The Newport series can retain its original form for many years because the steel finish is stronger than hardwood. Lesro offers the exact same upholstery options for all furniture series, including the Newport. You can choose from silver, black or white frames. The Newport series does not have the same ganging system to connect chairs together. This could be a good thing for some facilities as it means that no two chairs will have an armrest. You can purchase the WD Series with a ganged option to create a more unified space. You can create a shared arm between the seats and keep them looking uniform. 4. OFM 400 VAM Series

All upholstery is not the same. When buying furniture for commercial use, this is something you should consider. High traffic areas such as medical offices require more cleaning than average offices. Double-rub rating of your upholstery will give you an idea of how durable it is.
Double rub ratings are an industry standard, which is derived from the fabric wearability codes. This is done by using a piece heavy canvas to rub back and forth on an upholstery piece. Double rub is the back and forth motion. We recommend starting at 30,000+ for office grade furniture. This will ensure that your upholstery is resistant to the wear and tear that waiting room furniture is likely experience.
2. Antimicrobial / Antibacterial Components
Avoiding the growth of bacteria and microbes on upholstery is the best way to avoid problems. Always verify that the upholstery you choose has antimicrobial and antibacterial elements.
