The Cobra Selects will be fielding teams in 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u, 18u for the 2026 season. Age group eligibility is determined by age as of the calendar year. For example, the age your child is on 1/1/2026 is the age group they are able to play in the 2026 season.   If your son turns 13 on January 2, 2026 they are eligible to play 12u for the upcoming season, as he was 12 at the start of the year.

7 Practices are held on Thursday nights at the Family Sports Center in Butler.  1 hours between 6-9 PM. April 16- May 28

All Cobra teams are guaranteed to play in 3 tournaments 2 local tournaments and 1 away tournament. 

Wish Cup Tournament at Heat Wave Arena in Columbus Ohio April 17-19

WPIHL Spring Classic Tournament at Butler Family Sports Center April 24-26

TORHS Regional Tournament at RMU Island Sports Center May 29-31

All tournaments include a 4 game guarantee. 

There is a $20 tryout fee. $400 per player and $100 per goalie covers 7 practices and 3 tournaments. 

$160 Uniform cost covers a custom home, and away jersey, as well as team pants. 

AAU Hockey insurance is required for WPIHL, and can be acquired for $15. 

RHA Hockey Tournament insurance is required for TORHS and Wish Cup and can be acquired for $15 each.
