Frequently Asked Questions


How do I join Coast Side Roleplay, and what are the steps?

Since our community is based on Xbox One S/X (Old Generation Xboxes) or (New Gen GTA), a group post will be announced occasionally. During the recruitment phase, you would be asked questions and judged to see if you are a good fit for our community. You will be asked to add the recruiter on Discord if you are. Please do note that you must have at least a year of roleplaying experience.


When you join the server, you will need to follow the following steps:


I am 12. Am I still allowed to join?

The answer is it depends. Our server does recommend that you must be fourteen or older to join; however, if you’re younger, you must be mature.


I am an experienced roleplayer, but I don’t have a microphone. Am I still allowed to join?

No. Our community has strict requirements when it comes to communication between server members. In roleplay sessions, you must have a microphone or you will not be welcome to join that roleplay. You will not be allowed to use Xbox Party-Chat, as we use that for our roleplay actions and our queue systems.


How do I join a department, and how many can I join?

Right after joining the server, you will be instructed to complete an entry application. During this phase, it will ask you what department you want to join. You must join either a law enforcement agency or a fire service. Exceptions may be given if you are already in a LEO agency and want to join an FD agency.


In departments, how do I get promoted?

Coast SideRoleplay does promotions at any time. However, the best way to receive one, you must be active within our community (joining roleplay sessions), doing things to support the community outside the game, or even just being a nice person who can help.


I am in another community. Am I still allowed to join the CSRP™?

In our rules, we do not specify how many other communities you are allowed to be in. We just want to ensure that you can join server start-ups when hosted.


What timezone do I have to be in to be able to join?

Ideally, the leadership team recommends that you be in any timezone in the Central area of the United States of America (USA). However, we do welcome people from other countries, for example the United Kingdom (UK).


I am on Xbox Series X|S Am I still allowed to join?

The short answer is yes and no. If you have the old generation Or new-gen version of Grand Theft Auto V installed, we welcome you to join, but if you don’t, you will not be able to join as the new and old generations of the game can not and will not mix.


Will you buy me GTA V?

Our server is not funded by the members, staff personnel, or the public, so we will not be able to purchase anything for personal interest i.e. GTAV.


Is Coast Side Roleplay political?

No. We do not endorse the behavior to openly announce your political views or anyone you vote for. Our community is a place for roleplay, not a parliament.
