Hi! My name is Linda, and I started my business on the beautiful Central Coast around the start of 2023. I grew up in Arroyo Grande, and after spending almost two decades in the San Francisco Bay Area, I moved back with my husband to raise our two sons.
I started doing art at a young age, and was inspired by my dad, who painted landscapes and flowers, and drew silly comics. (He was a school counselor at AGHS & Lopez High School.) At around the age of 10, he gave me books called, "How to Draw Comics" and "How to Draw Animals", along with some other art books. I was hooked.
I have dabbled in many art forms since, such as drawing, painting, ceramics, papier-mâché, photography, jewelry making, graphic design, and watercolors. Since having children, I have volunteered at their schools and for non-profits. I get to incorporate my artistic talent, by creating and maintaining school bulletin boards, websites, and social media accounts; as well as working with children, in a fun and inspiring way, through events, and educational booths.
In 2022, a friend suggested I volunteer to paint faces at a fundraising event at HappyTime Pre-school. I thought, yes, that would be fun! Well, I researched, practiced, planned, and did the event. I fell absolutely in love with it. I love the interaction with the children, and that I get to paint again on a regular basis.
Upon hearing of my plans to start a Face Painting Business, my sister suggested I do window painting as well. When I was in high school (many moons ago), I painted larger than life Jungle Book characters on my bedroom walls. I had also painted Christmas scenes at a previous place of employment in Berkeley. Well, after much research, practice, and planning. I fell in love with that as well.
Face Painting, Window Art, and Graphic Design allow me to use my artistic skills and design experience in a fun and creative way. I love working with kids and people of all ages. I am thrilled to be painting every day, and doing what I love.
MY MISSION:
To provide a positive experience, make people smile, and entertain through color and art.
