I spent most of my early athletic life as a gym rat. In 2015, looking for a change on a nice spring day, I went for a short outdoor run. I caught the running bug and slowly graduated from 5K’s to running the NYC Marathon in 2017, using online plans as my training guide. While training for NY, I developed an overuse injury and discovered the value of having a sports coach in my corner. Since then, I’ve completed multiple marathons and triathlons, including several podium finishes.
My experience training through the physical and mental demands of endurance sport taught me that success isn’t only about finish times—it’s about enjoying the process, growing stronger, and building a healthy, sustainable lifestyle. That’s the mindset I bring to every athlete I coach, and it’s the foundation of the results we’ll build together.
Coaching, for me, is about more than writing a plan—it’s about understanding the whole athlete: your goals, your challenges, and the life you balance outside of your sport. My role as your coach is to fit a program to your unique needs, as well as bring a structured, data-driven approach to help you train smarter and with purpose.
I believe progress is rarely linear, and enjoyment is key to staying consistent. My role shifts to what you may need at a particular time—educator, motivator, supporter, etc—but the focus is always the same: helping you reach your goals while making the journey rewarding along the way.
I offer two coaching options: the Block Plan with 2–3 month personalized training blocks, and the Continuous Plan with weekly, performance-adjusted guidance. I had a fantastic experience working with Coach Seth. He put together a detailed, thoughtful, and well structured training plan. What stood out was how adaptable he was. As life situations happen (ex. a friend got injured, work got in the way) or when I wanted to focus on specific areas (ex. such as getting faster), he adjusted the plan seamlessly without ever losing sight of my primary goal. The program he built went far beyond just running. It included strength-training exercises, and clear guidance on how to develop well-rounded fitness, something I appreciated immensely. His holistic approach made a huge difference in my progress. We had regular check-ins, and Seth was consistently supportive, encouraging, and genuinely invested in how I was doing. Even though he wasn’t physically nearby, he always made it feel like he was right there alongside me through every step of the journey. Overall, Seth is an outstanding coach, very knowledgeable, responsive, and deeply motivating. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for personalized, flexible, and uplifting guidance in their training. -Sam
Seth has been an incredible running coach. He built a personalized half-marathon training plan that accounted for my injury history and adapted it along the way based on how I was feeling. He checked in consistently, made sure I always had what I needed, and gave helpful guidance on exercises to prevent injuries. His support and flexibility made the whole training process feel manageable and motivating. Highly recommend! - Jasper
I worked with Seth over the summer to train for my first marathon. He helped develop a detained training plan that aligned with my goals for the race. He also provided regular check-ins to discuss my progress and address any issues. Seth was able to modify the plan when unexpected life events came up as well. I highly recommend working with Seth, especially if you are a newer distance runner. -Dan
I was coming back to running after a long time off; the longest run I had done recently was 5 miles and I decided to sign up for a marathon on a whim. Seth helped me build up to a Marathon in just over 4 months while also adjusting my training plan while I was going through some big life changes (moving and going back to school)! I would not have been nearly as confident on race day without his training plan. - Samantha
Working with Coach Seth was more than what I could have asked for. It was my first time working with a running coach, it felt daunting at the beginning as I’m not a committed runner but rather enjoy it as a complement to my usual goals. Seth was amazing at meeting me where I’m at, focusing on technique, consistency, and enjoyment! He was so patient and generous sharing his wealth of knowledge, so the coaching went beyond following a plan but actually learning the meaning and importance behind our approaches. A highlight for me is how he walked me through the less intuitive parts of training, like when you are traveling or recovering from a cold. - Paola
After a long recovery period post-knee injury, I was weary on restarting my training - I needed to a consistent, dependable, and safe running plan that I could build back up with. Seth was the exact training coach I needed to help me do that. He built a plan specifically for me and my ramp up goals that felt personalized and dependable. When life got hectic, he adjusted without missing a beat, and when plans changed, he was ready to flex the plan so I could keep moving forward. Our regular checks in kept me accountable in a way that felt encouraging and personable. I'm still in the thick of training, but I already feel more prepared and confident than I ever expected. Can't recommend him enough! - Juan
