What’s Up Everybody! I’m Coach JR3

I specialize in "Forward Coaching," a dynamic approach where I collaborate with individuals ready to move toward their defined goals. I offer a space free from judgment or dictation in our sessions, focusing solely on the topics or issues you wish to explore. My coaching philosophy is simple: you lead the way, and I'll walk alongside you, session by session. Whether you need frequent meetings or occasional check-ins, there's no long-term commitment necessary. 

For me, effective coaching hinges on relatability. As a Black Gay Man, I prioritize serving Black Men and the LGBTQ community, though my practice welcomes anyone committed to personal growth. Drawing from six years of experience in the social work arena, specifically with LGBTQ youth aged 16 to 24, I also extend support to younger clients with parental consent. 

Currently, on the verge of completing my credentials at iPEC School of Coaching and attaining my ICF Certification, I bring a diverse background to my practice. Alongside rigorous coach training and years in social work, I've spent much of my life immersed in Christian ministry. Raised the "son of a preacher man" and ordained at thirteen, I intimately grasp the power and pitfalls of faith. Therefore, my practice embraces individuals of all faiths or none, recognizing that each person defines their own Guiding Light. 

I believe life is written in pencil. Every day, you get to write a new story or erase something. But just like a pencil that’s put to good use, it gets shorter every day. And like old pages of writing, once the pencil fades, the only thing we have left is the impression on the page. This leaves us to ask, “What impression will we leave behind on the page of life?” I want to help you find that answer.
