Jeremy Wentrcek is a veteran Christian school athletic director, 6-man football coach, hurdle trainer, and recruiting coordinator. Throughout his 25 year career Coach Wentrcek has led football teams to the state semi-finals six times and the state final twice, along with multiple other playoff appearances. He has also established himself as a leading hurdle trainer among TAPPS schools, coaching athletes to 31 medaling performances at the sate meet including 14 gold medals.
Although Coach Wentrcek has established a reputation as a constant competitor, he is most noted for developing the character based athletic model known as "Kingdom Athletics". In recent years he has also developed an online college athletic recruiting service known as 356 College Prospects which helps bridge the gap between quality, under-recruited high school athletes and collegiate coaches. Coach Wentrcek's life purpose; "to live abundantly in Christ as a person of deep and far reaching Kingdom impact while building spiritual champions, warriors, and game changers", has been the driving factor behind his career and ministry.
Music has always been a significant part of Jeremy's life as well. As a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter he has released two full length albums and served as worship leader at multiple churches, Christian schools, and Christian camps.
Jeremy, his wife Cindy and their two sons Joshua and Josiah currently live in San Antonio, Tx where he serves as athletic director, head football coach, hurdle coach, and college athletic recruiting coordinator. They are also committed members at Lifeshare Church of San Antonio.
