ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

The Department of Biological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Berhampur in collaboration with Param Hansa Centre for Computational Oncology, IISc Bangalore will be conducting a 'Workshop-cum-Symposium on Computational Oncology: Systems and Advanced Omics Approaches in Cancer Biology', a state-of-the-art event highlighting the latest advancements in modern oncology. The workshop aims to provide young researchers and emerging scientists with an overview of interdisciplinary approaches that acknowledge cancer as a systems biology disease. The contents of the workshop will cover modern techniques that allow to study the molecular and cellular heterogeneity that present as cancer hallmarks. A broad spectrum of computational modelling and experimental technologies will be introduced to the audience through lectures encompassing research and pedagogy following a panel discussion with eminent scientists.
