Practice and research centred on Living Lab, a methodology for promoting co-creation across sectors, and a social system design methodology for ideologically transforming social systems, with academic papers (7 peer-reviewed, 11 peer-reviewed international conferences, 3 awards), media coverage (2 books, many newspapers and websites), lectures and advisers on design, co-creation and collaboration, regional creation, social He has given lectures, been appointed as an advisor, and developed educational programmes and textbooks on such themes as design, co-creation and collaboration, regional creation, and social issues.

How can we overcome individuals' characteristics and organization's mission on Co-Creation?
How can we update Co-Creation environment (Social Systems)?
Here are my research theme on Living Labs or Social System Design, and I'm tackling on practice and research in specific local communities.
- Sustainable Co-Creation Model among regional stakeholders and private companies (A way not to exploit tangible and intangible intellectual property in regional stakeholders in a unilateral manner & A way to find new innovation insight for companies.)
- Atmosphere which occur citizen’s autonomic behavior (comfortable, flat, stimulative for creativity, adventuresome, motivative for learning, etc.)
- Conditions which allow professionals to co-create with each other overcoming their own professionalism
- Governance between stakeholders and their organizations to co-create (ex. A new way of social governance in community or city)
- Updating Co-Creation environment and Social System Design
My articles and books are related to Living Labs, Social System Design, and UX Design, especially on method and ICT practices.
