Silkscreen printing is a technique that involves pushing ink through a screed and stencil mesh, printing the design. Print It Yourself CNY Tote Bag with designed CNY’s motif for Year of The Rabbit. Participants able to experience and understand how silkscreen printing work. Create a limited CNY stylish and functional tote bag.

Paper-Cutting is an important tradition and art form of Chinese folk life. In this workshop, participants will learn basic skills of paper-cutting through folding and cutting the paper and create unique Year of the Rabbit pieces which you can stick on your wall for this coming CNY.

In this workshop, you will be introduced to the basics of linocut carving and printing techniques. You'll learn how to identify what makes an ideal image for a linocut artwork. You will begin by tracing the selected pattern or design and transferring them onto the lino surface. Then, using various linocut blades, you will carve the lino block to create an image. Finally, you will ink the image using a brayer with block printing ink and print the image onto angpao surface.
