Sidi Bel Abbes also called Bel Abbès, is a commune in the wilaya of Sidi Bel Abbès, of which it is the capital, a dynamic commercial and industrial center located 82 km from Oran, the city has 212,935 inhabitants. Inhabitant of the city of Sidi-Bel-Abbès is called a Bel-Abbésien.
Djillali Liabes University of Sidi Bel Abbès is a higher education company based out of Sidi Bel Abbès, Algeria. The University of Sidi –Bel Abbés acquired its university status in 1989. University has different campuses distributed in a ring around the city. The latter is made up of Six (09) Faculties: (Exact Sciences, Law and political science, Technology, Medicine, Economic Sciences, Human Sciences,Letters, languages and the arts, Natural and life sciences and Electrical engineering).
CNHT History
The National Conference on High Voltage Engineering (CNHT) will be hosted in Sidi Bel-Abbès in its 12th edition after being organized in several cities in Algeria; Bejaia (1995), Tizi-Ouzou (1997), Guelma (1999), Ghardaia(2002),Oran(2003), Taghit(2007), Sidi Bel-Abbès (2009), Tiaret (2011), Laghouat (2013), Algiers (2016) and Oran (2019).

Conference Topics
CNHT'2022 covers the following major thematic sessions:

· Plasma and thin films,
· Electrostatics and applications,

In addition to the main topics, papers on other important subjects of high voltage will be considered.
