For over a decade of development the C&F system has grown into the perfect system for emergent storytelling. One of the hallmark features of this system is your character sheet. To begin in C&F you don't fill out stats, you write a backstory, and the system converts that backstory into mechanics. Through the natural progression of play, your character evolves as you continue to fill out their sheet. When you stop creating the character sheet, it means that either the campaign is concluded or your character met a grisly end.
