CNCS1 CLUSTER MEETING

The CNCS1 Cluster held its meeting on June 29-30, 2022 at the Function Hall of LGU Basud, Camarines Norte being the host municipality. The two-day meeting was attended by the Area Coordinators and Cluster MATA Officers. This activity aims to maintain coordination and support among the lead implementors to ensure the quality of the preparations and the implementation of the sub-projects. This meeting is also geared towards the identification of common issues and concerns encountered by the ACTs and to discuss and come up with strategies to ensure that the activities are conducted as planned.

During the opening activity, the Municipal Mayor of Basud, Hon. Adrian S. Davoco greeted and welcomed the attendees and expressed his hope for the successful conduct of the meeting. The Municipal Area Coordinator of Basud, Engr. Hector G. Ubana was also present and expressed his support for the Cluster in all its efforts for the success of KC-NCDDP.

The meeting was presided by CDO III, Ms. Imee C. Talavera. The participants leveled off on their expectations before the Team proceeded with the presentations of updates from the Cluster MATA Officers.

During the meeting proper, Ms. Talavera presented the consolidated accomplishments of the ACTs. She discussed some of the pressing issues that affect the accomplishment of the targets of each municipality. RIO III, Engr. Dindo Nantes Jr. presented the sub-project implementation status of Group 1 and 2 municipalities. He provided directives and instructions in connection with some issues and concerns particularly the timely submission of the required reports. PEO III, Mr. Merlan S. Nazareno presented the status of the compliance of the MOVs. He also discussed in detail the advisories for monitoring and evaluation that serves as guide in complying with the required MOVs. CPO III, Engr. Edward Herrero presented the status of procurement of the municipalities who are now in the implementation stage. He shared technical guidance on how to carry out a timely completion of the procurement processes so as not to receive a memo due to the delay. FA III, Ms. Carina Marjorie Tanay presented the disbursement status of the municipalities in the implementation of their sub-projects. She also discussed some issues and problems as regards financial matters which concerns some municipalities.

On the latter part of the second day of the meeting, CDO III Imee C. Talavera synthesized and summed up all the presentations and discussions as well as the instructions and agreements. There being no more matters to be discussed, she adjourned the meeting expressing her hopes for the smooth and timely implementation of the sub-projects at the CNCS1 municipalities.
